Day 1 – Arrival in Medan & Transfer to Bukit Lawang

Welcome to Medan, the gateway to North Sumatra.

Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, your driver will warmly welcome you before beginning the scenic journey to Bukit Lawang, a peaceful village located on the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park.

During the 4–5 hour drive, you will pass beautiful countryside landscapes, plantations, and traditional villages.

Upon arrival, check in to your comfortable riverside accommodation. In the evening, enjoy a delicious traditional Sumatran dinner, famous for its rich spices and authentic flavors.

Day 2 – Orangutan Jungle Trekking Experience
After breakfast, your guide will take you into the incredible rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Park, one of the oldest rainforests on Earth.

Day 3 – Jungle Exploration & River Rafting

In the afternoon, experience the excitement of jungle river rafting using traditional rubber tubes along the Bohorok River, returning to Bukit Lawang while enjoying incredible jungle scenery.

Day 4 – Journey to Berastagi Highlands

After breakfast, continue your journey to the cool mountain town of Berastagi.

Day 5 – Volcano Hiking & Journey to Lake Toba
Early in the morning, begin your exciting hike to Mount Sibayak, an active volcano offering spectacular views from the crater.

After the hike, continue your journey toward Lake Toba with a stop at the breathtaking:

? Sipiso-Piso Waterfall – one of the tallest waterfalls in Indonesia with panoramic views over Lake Toba.

From Parapat, cross by ferry to the beautiful Samosir Island located in the middle of the lake.

Day 6 – Explore Batak Culture on Samosir Island
Today you will discover the fascinating culture of the Batak people.

After breakfast, return by ferry to Parapat before continuing the scenic drive back to Medan.
